Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA)

We are looking forward to another year of RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) classes, starting on September 7, 2022! THE FULL SCHEDULE IS HERE.

RCIA classes are available to any non-Catholic (baptized or not) who wishes to inquire about the Catholic faith and consider becoming Catholic. They are also quite appropriate for folks who are already Catholic and wish to understand their faith better!

Classes take place on Wednesdays at 6:00pm during the school year, as indicated on the schedule. A hot meal is provided at 6:00pm and the lecture begins at 6:30pm. Classes are usually over by 8:00pm. Unfortunately, we are not able to offer childcare.

The location of classes is usually inside the Cathedral Life Center (CLC) on the Cathedral campus. This is the large school building that is behind the Cathedral church. There are other activities happening here on Wednesday evenings, too, so there will often be a lot of people around. We do also have police security on hand for everyone’s safety and comfort. Entrance to the CLC is through the large gate to the internal courtyard/driveway, located on 22nd Street.
